Bakfa: strength you can build on
Bakfa, the Darreh Dam Dam Golestan Mineral Shell Industrial and Mining Company, takes its name from the Darreh Dam Dam valley in the Aq Band area of Gonbad-e Kavus, home to our own mineral shell mine. Direct access to this rare resource, together with a team specialized in mineral processing, lets us oversee quality at every step, from the mine to the finished package.
From mine to industry
From processed mineral shell we produce a range of powders and graded aggregates that serve many industries:
- Livestock, poultry and aquaculture feed
- Pharmaceuticals
- Paper manufacturing
- Other manufacturing industries
Building solutions
Drawing on the outstanding properties of mineral shell, we also make a range of tile and ceramic adhesives and cement-based dry mortars. They are designed for professional work on site: masonry mortars, base-coat mortars, waterproofing mortar and tile adhesive.

The quality of Bakfa products is backed by recognized certification:
- Standard certificate from the Iranian National Standards Organization (INSO)
- Operating license from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO)
- Technical approval from the Building and Housing Research Center (BHRC)
